| | Loving a couple of Songs on this CD!! Yea, yea, i know it's a kinda dark and depressing cd, and though i am not feeling that way, I got to hand it to her, this girl sure can sing...... So I'm like 20 minutes in from spending a night and a day looking after my friends 3 children - a 2 year old, 4 year old and a 6 year old, so you could say I am a little tired, especially as I have just washed the dishes hovered ( oops, i mean VACUMED, for all you American's) the living room and now checking my email - within minutes of walking in the front door. I've got a point to this, not just to show what a goody, goody 'amazing, wonderful and all around talented girl I am......' but really, to say how suprised I am at how easy it is to get all 'domestic-like' and just do the norm.... I know Every parents different, but I don't understand how it could be physically possible to give into every whimper of a child, there's just not enough time in the day to do all you need and still fuss around your kid 24/7, I'm sorry y'all but I'm not like that, If a toddler wants to cry because he or she doesn't get what they want, LET THEM!!!! for sooner or later they will come around and look for you and settle, grant it , it can be VERY irritating to have a tantrum baby, and I can only go by 2 days experience, but still, God doesn't act on our every whimper, otherwise we would never know what we wanted, or what was good for us! well, i'm off for my cuppa and then to practise my singing! Later..... |
